WWE is sometimes shown on Sky on a PPV basis. But, the only other time I can recall was Prem Plus back at the start of the century.

I think they stopped doing that since the WWE Network Began.

BT Sport have announced that they're going to launch a PPV channel:
Quote:
Later this year we plan to launch BT Sport Box Office, a pay-per-view channel which will be available on BT TV and the Sky platform.

but other than a logo, zero other details so far.

It was assigned Sky channel 494 two hours after BT made the announcement.

Sam Smith and Jo Durie presenting, Chris Bradnam and Naomi Cavaday on commentary, same team as this time last year but they used a smaller studio.

Hardly. All WWE pay per views are still shown as pay-per-views on Sky and Virgin Media.

That's the same here as in the US, where WWE pay-per-views are still available on pay-per-view despite being on the WWE Network as well.

For the final day of the National League season tomorrow, BT Sport will have cameras at all the games. I've heard talk of a 12-way box being rolled out during the coverage of the Barrow game, though don't expect 4K from the rest Smile

Now we have a major headache, with Liverpool in the UEFA CL final the pressures on BT Sport will be enormous to sub licence the match. There will be trouble ahead.

How are BT planning to show the final for non-subscribers? Only online?

Probably. With the Showcase channel effectively shut down, it'll just be livestreamed on YouTube for free.

I think it'll probably be FTV on Sky and Virgin, as some events occasionally were in the past before Showcase launched.

By the way, if any pres sites need to get any of the current look in their archives, the next week would be a good time to get capturing.
