How long was the BT deal with Cricket Australia - did it just cover the one Ashes series or was it long enough to cover the next series in Australia too?

It was a 5 year deal and this is the 2nd year. the next away Ashes series is 2021/22 therefore it will only be the one Ashes series.
Unless of course, BT Sport renew with Cricket Australia..
..but then, seeing as the ECB shafted BT in the UK TV domestic rights last year - one wonders, like ITV does with some sports, how quickly BT will get bored with cricket from the other side of the world and, if there's a get out in the mid innings break (i.e half way through) and take it.
Actually, I was thinking about the ashes coverage that BT did yesterday.
I really hope it's nominated (and win) for a Bafta for best live sports coverage. Seeing the coverage 'wraparound' from the test and one dayers from New Zealand back on Sky, and the lapse back to the 'I remember when' brigade (with only Bumble to break it up) - it really did prove how quickly Sunset and Vine hit the ground running with BT Sport, and they got a good contemporary on-air team together which gelled pretty quickly.
Hearing that BTSX 5 and 6 are likely to close shortly bearing in mind that they wont be needed with the staggered UEFACL Group Stage KOs from next season. Will also free some channel space for the Sky Channels on the BTTV platform in 2019 too.
A bit of a presenter shuffle at BT Sport today:
Lynsey Hipgrave presented the lunchtime FA Cup game from Swansea, Matt Smith anchored The Score (as Mark Pougatch was on rugby duty for ITV), Darryl Currie will be presenting the Premier League game pitchside at Anfield, and Jake Humphrey is in the studio for the 19.45 FA Cup game at Man Utd.
You can't quite make out the snow here, but they may be regretting their decision to present outside...
And today a bit of a schedule shuffle: the Anglo-Welsh cup final has been postponed due to the weather, so AC Milan v Chievo moves to BT Sport 1, and Metz v Nantes fills its gap on ESPN.
Looking forward to the BT Sport Films retrospective on Football Italia coming up on Easter Saturday. Obviously plenty of James Richardson looking at the Gazzetta in a cafe, but apparently Peter Brackley has taken part as well, along with Michael Grade who was Channel 4 chief exec at the time and members of the production team. Should be good.

Can we change the "Ashes Cricket starts" title? England are now in New Zealand, Officially Not Australia™ despite the flag thing
Kiwis have nothing to do with the cheating thing, I swear RNZ took glee in making Australian cricket the top news story today. And for the next
week,
probably. Wonder if it'll hurt BT's ratings for the Aussie coverage? They could rebrand it: "Every Six, Every Wicket, Every Sacking, LIVE".

Shouldn't affect it too much, the current series is in South Africa and is on Sky, the next series is some ODIs in England also on Sky and they won't be back on BT until the Top End series with Bangladesh and Zimbabwe in July.
