Is it in part as the minister put up for interview each morning generally does Sky News, BBC TV, BBC Radio, and ITV News, and maybe others in quick succession, and going into a specific studio will take more time?

I heard Hancock this morning, first on Times Radio then on LBC and finally on TalkRadio.

You're clearly a fan!!

It's just my morning routine! I suppose the sad thing is, since Kay took over breakfast, we stopped putting Sky News on and listen to the radio instead. Unfortunately, it's got into a habit and we don't even bother with the far superior and watchable Stephen and Gillian at weekends.

Used to enjoy Kay in the afternoons.

Every Friday moving forward I will be presenting the Early Rundown, 0600-0700, just so you know.... pic.twitter.com/tBRTtuW7FA

Is that his 15 year gift from Comcast? I wonder if Robbie Gibb has been in contact yet?

Given that we all suspect Kay won’t be doing that many Fridays, it means Steve will presumably do those shifts (but without Gillian).

I suspect that Niall would be the primary backup presenter for any Kay-less Kay Burley , as has been the case over the past few weeks.

Originally Gamal was booked into that slot for the last few months, even appearing on the EPG.

Gamal may well be doing “The not the Sarah-Jane Mee Show” As Sarah Hewson has said she’s doing Monday-Thursday.

In other notable presenter news; Jayne Secker has done Sky News Today solo this week still, while Colin Brazier has been filling in on the News Hour. I do wonder if we’ll ever see double headed on afternoons again?

I don't get why they've gone with something that looks like a cheap knock off of the BBC Millbank studio. Even down to having a triangular desk.

This looks to be the new 2020-style Sky News logo.

Hoping they put it on screen soon.

If Sky News keep the white background for their brief title sequence, then 'Joe Public' isn't going to notice any difference.

The problem we've already noticed (as with the Sky Sports logos) is that the 'unboxed' portion doesn't sit well on many backgrounds. It just disappears, rather like some translucent DOGs have done for years.

I don't think they have really thought through this change very well. The logos look lovely, but in practice they seem to fail as some idents.

No.

Also this looks like a mock from here...

Edit: actually, all their recent uploads look like mocks.
