Christ the loop on the election music in the BBC Referendum promo is poor isn't it? It's in no way seamless, just a jarring cut back ten seconds in the track or so.

Network or Scottish?

Has their been any promo's either on Border Scot or the ITV Network itself regarding the overnight coverage from STV?

It appeared on the NC around 10:30pm - it was Huw Edwards so I assume it was network but it might have been a special version as it was specific to the coverage being on BBC News, despite it also being shown on BBC One.

Sorry if this has already been discussed, but do we have any idea if any international broadcasters are covering the referendum results outside normal programming? US networks for example?

Not sure about special programming per se, but I think Eurovision may be carrying the BBC's overnight results programme while ITN is meant to be making a live feed available to foreign broadcasters?

Just had a sneak peek at the BBC Scotland election night set. It's actually not too bad. Very similar desk to the UK's atrium set. It's quite a dark set with high ceilings, a few mezzanine areas and a circular lighting rig above the desk.

In the style of Election 2010?

To an extent, yes. Smaller though and a very striped desk!

Nice! I actually like the striped desk, offers a lot of branding opportunities. For 'election nights' I usually stick to Sky or ITV because of the 'cool factor' of their presentation, so it is refreshing that the Beeb (in general) have a massive atrium set, massive monitors, and a nice looking closed set too, hopefully with loads of tech!
