Be nice to see Ian and Helen James, they really get on well but then Ian seems he would get on with anyone. Of course it would be even better for a certain ex-weather girl to complete the threesome... erm as it were

Yes now she is very good, has real presence, a real pro.. notice the genuine rapport not fake at all. She kept looking at Fred a lot though did'nt she !

Hi, does anybody have any any idea what happened to Nia Mason? She regularly presented the Meridian lunchtime edition & sometimes did the late edition as well.
I thought she would have been kept on as she was a good presenter, well spoken, friendly, attractive & would tick the ethnicity box these corporations love. Plus unlike most newsreaders & weather forecasters she was able to say the letter r, rather than substituting the letter w- surprised BBC South East have not picked her up.

I agree, Helen James was great on last night's MT, much better than Sangeeta...
I liked her little mention at the end that she has worked with Fred for the last 12 years, but it was the first time they had shared the sofa!
Hopefully she will pop up again as they did seem to have a genuine rapport, much like the old "Fred & Debbie show"...

Damn, missed Helen last night. I'd agree with previous comments though - she was always good with Ian as well.
Sangeeta and Fred just don't gel together in my opinion.
