Looking very smart and finally they will have a place for studio interviews. Often lives from Inverness came from outside the studios with Inverness Castle in the background.

I know the furniture isn't going to be seen on screen, but I really hope what's in there is temporary. The lapel mic is forever going to be slipping off that table once it's been put down...

Just contributions and DTL more likely, I don't think the Rosemarkie tx and everything north and west is configured for any sub opting.

There was talk of a Highland opt many years ago but nothing ever came of it. Maybe it's in the long term plans.

Looking at the video there is nothing featured that would suggest that is a production centre. If it were used for an opt-out the gallery and infrastructure would have to be elsewhere and remote production used. The facilities seen in that video were purely contribution related and possibly a little bit of post. It looked like many of the ITV local news regional offices (couple of PCs, down-the-line camera etc.) abeit a little bit bigger and with a kitchen...

The Dundee studio has very similar facilities. The gallery for the opt is in Aberdeen so it’s not outwith the bounds of possibly that the Inverness studio could be used for a local opt.

Nope that was the Glasgow studio. If it was Aberdeen, the monitor would be to the left of the presenter, or the right if you're watching on TV.

How come it was in HD, I knew they had HD cameras but I didn’t know they were doing HD output.
