Nice set. Desk and TV walls match the London one. Although the window reminds me of the first London Tonight studio.

It does look good, and they have changed the desk round for the 6pm show Laughing

It looks as though the desk is moved around for single headed bulletins... as it was yesterday evening.

I think they can move the desk round because they don't have desktop computers unlike London - see in the pictures above.

Well there isn't really a reason for the London programme to turn their desk around. I'm sure the team at ITN could manage it if they wanted.

I see. I'm referring also to the desk which have no computers - unlike the London set-up (the keyboard is visible).

I do like how the desk moves. Also, there's something about the horizontal grey wall panels you see in some shots that make me think of Granada Reports circa 1986...

or part of the set from the 1990 era IIRC.

All in all, a few lighting issues and the plasma feels like it needs to be brighter, but the set looks great.

Yes, but I don't think moving computers around would be a problem if they really saw fit to move the desk. They'd either more computers around, or they'd have gone for something more portable.

1 region down! When should we expect this set to be rolled out to the other regions? I expect Wales should get it when they move into their new HQ later this year?
