I just thought today - what have been the most funniest news moments ever? One of my favourite moments was during the 1999-2003 look at News 24. I can't remember the presenter's name, he was either a Sports or Business presenter and he was talking to Peter Coe when he dropped his pen and live on air flew himself across the desk to go and get it. When I was watching it I couldn't believe it, you would think he would not have gone to that much effort especially when LIVE. Post your funniest moments so we can share them.

Jan Leeming having a lightbulb explode over her head during a weekend news bulletin.

Kenneth Kendall's false teeth (tooth, actually) falling out of his mouth onto the newsdesk during a live broadcast.

Alison Bell and Steve Dixon on Sky News bursting into hysterics and unable to continue reading the bulletin.

Sally Magnusson bursting out laughing whilst reading a serious story on BBC Breakfast during the nineties.

Richard Quest on BBC World's "The World Today", having dropped his script behind the desk and clambering down behind it to retrieve the fallen items when he thought that he was out of shot, but actually wasn't, and we saw it all (whilst Nici Marx was delivering a piece to camera).

The toddler on the Lunchtime News drawing all over Katie's script, then throwing them on the floor.

Another one was when Gorden Honeycombe presented the Evening News last year with Mary, and when they said goodbye he waved to the camera.

Then of course there was Alistair's impression of the Queen on today's Lunchtime News.

Wasn't that a paper reviewer? I seem to remember seeing a clip of it somewhere.

Usually Scotland Today at 6 with Shereen Nanjiani and John Mackay. Whenever they're newsreading together they have a great laugh at the end of the bulletin.

And everytime I see Jackie Bird's face on Reporting Scotland it just makes me laugh...don't know why though... Shocked

When Anne was 'supposed' to nick Jackie's jacket and Mrs B saw red Rolling Eyes or when she was ready to lamp David Robertson with a Glesgee Kiss for slagging her fashion sense Rolling Eyes ...two words...Hogmanay and Live!!! Say no more-say no more Razz

I always thought that was faked for Aunties Bloomers, as if anyone is that stupid? The floor manager would just pass it whilst playing a VT.
