EuronewsNBC coming in September

Still looks disjointed. Nothing lines up properly in the lower-thirds between the headline, flipper, clock, the lower lower left "Euronews" and lower left "Euronews Tonight"

Those are quite gaudy graphics aren't they. I know we often moan on here about Sky's graphics being nondescript but the colours seem far too bold on here and the text far too large (especially the TONIGHT part). It looks like the sorts of graphics you'd have seen on news channels a decade or so back and seems to go against the trend for news channels getting cleaner, flatter,less-showy looks even on the US cable news channels.
I do like the fact they have an actual newsroom/gallery view from the studio though which seems a bit of a rarity with news channels these days.

I'll go along with that. It's seems less like it's been designed and more like the various on-screen element have merely 'accumilated' there.

And this is exactly why I LIKE them. Because they go AGAINST a bad trend!

Euronews's graphics are horrendous. From the oversized ticker to the GIANT TEXT, the whole package is just awful.

Thankfully it doesn't look like it's a new 'trend' that any other broadcaster is likely to follow.

Euronews looks ghastly now, it's like a pisstake.

Several non-English versions of Euronews Now (amongst them the German Euronews Aktuell) have launched.

Very sluggish on becoming EuroNewsNBC though. Thought they'd have been more progress by now.

NBCEuroNews has a much better ring to it though doesn't it? EuroNewsNBC doesn't really read properly does it?

Personally, I'd just stick the peacock next to the word euronews or 'EURONEWS' if the corporate branding types prefer.
It just seems like such a long time since the plan was published - pre-dating the Comcast takeover of Sky.

There appears to be some backtracking from the powers that be at Euronews...
