Did the whole feed have the welcome to PBS viewers?

Yep had that in New Zealand....It looked like it might have been using the old graphics maybe??

Definitely seems that way. Anyone know if it appeared on the domestic feed? I ask as it seemed like World was taking the full domestic output.

Well it’s just Studio B isn’t it. It’s no better than your average Newsnight. Not sure why they even had to move them out.

What is the cable camera even for? It goes from nowhere to a wall outside where Rita is. Pointless.

Sophie’s map would have been something I’d expect to see in the 1970s. It’s made out of wood for Christ’s sake! 😂

The whole thing is just a bit underwhelming.

BBC News Online is pathetic. Crashing a lot. Am I the only one experiencing trouble with this?

I think I said this last time (and no one agreed with me) but I really don't rate Reeta Chakrabarti on the stats. She's a great newsreader but she stumbles her way through the big screen and doesn't seem too sure of what she's saying.

They're really benefiting from the set built/infrastructure established (eg; the atrium lighting) for The Nine

Personally I think the BBC election setup is okay. Though I'd agree the fake ceiling in studio B doesn't really work. Maybe the short election period and using different studios this time meant priorities had to be focused on more important aspects.

Quite liking the red wipe effect being used on the BBC to go to lives. Very Sky News, but I like it.

The BBC might be better off in E to at least appear in the middle of the action with Andrew up in the Outside Source area. Only thing letting E down is the screens aren't as good as B.

Over on ITV as I think happened in 2017 Tom is moving round the studio taking on two or three roles. Seems odd Preston is at a desk on his own downstairs - might be better in the main studio ping the coffee table interviews.
