I'm pretty sure the weather segment in the breakfiller has been exactly the same for weeks. At least in the European version of the breakfiller.
I know it's basically just advertisement for the Maldive Island but they could well update those temperatures...

Quite surprising to see Martine Croxall presenting WNT from Washington yesterday night.
Also good to see a woman business reporter who's been working for the BBC for a long time whose name I just can't remember presenting the business segments of the programme from Singapore instead of Rico Hizon, who is one of the few BBC presenters I really find hard to watch.

She's been presenting from Washington for at least the least week.

Well I see someone has beat me to my comment...I see Martine Croxall is in America. Quite nice to see her presenting WNT alongside Karin Giannone in London. Does anyone know how long she'll be over in the U.S.? Hope its just temporary to relieve pressure off the Washington based staff who no doubt is stretched to the limit providing coverage for US elections.

I noticed World have been using the breaking news ticker a bit more the past few days, and Jonathan Charles wearing the same jacket 3rd day a row!

Yep, I've noticed that, too, also his pink shirt looks the same. His luggage was probably lost in Heathrow T5 while travelling to Johannesburg.

4 Days now and you can tell its the same jacket cos its too big for him! Different pink shirt though, quite a pale pink... how sad are we!

It's nice to see George Alagiah anchoring from location too. IMO, he suits this far better than being alone in that perspex shoebox that is The Six oClock News.

Back in the UK, is he also anchoring the Ten live from JNB, or is someone else down there too?

He was at the start of the week, but since Wednesday John Simpson has anchored live from Zimbabwe.

I take it Have Your Say on TV is now over? It wasn't on TV today and isn't scheduled for next week.

Hardtalk seemed to have had the normal BBC World dog and ticker throughout. Was Hardtalk being played out from somewhere else?

So what happens this channel from next Monday? Will they move into N8 as it is, straight away or will they keep going in N9 while N8 is refitted to suit the new look?
