As the old one has broken, can we move discussion over to here?

The last thing being discussed on the old thread was Lyse being sent out to Isreal.

I was wondering what those phantom pages were. I'll try my hardest to keep this thread on topic.

I can actually still access the original thread without any hassle Hyma. But, as for Lyse, sheer professionalism and very well suited to being on the spot.

I note that BBC Networ also has Jeremy Bowen on air a lot. Where is he actually right now? Beirut too?

Yep, he was live with Ben Brown on the Ten.

How gay having to post in a thread made by hymaloser.

Anyway, Did BBC World have a special for the rocket landing like the did with the last one where Mike Embley hosted it?

Should there not be some unnecessary quotation marks in the title of the thread?

I was just thinking the same Spencer. The reason I used to have them on the old thread was because it was the only way that I could get the title to remain in capital letters!!!!!

Lyse Doucet is excelling once again anchoring live on the spot from Haifa. Accompanied by the equally excellent David Jessel in London.

World has been very good today actually, even Alagiah's spot was ok.

Is the BBC slowly bringing Carrie Frais to the World?

How is it homophobic though? That word is, sadly, commonly used but hardly ever intended literally. Or am I missing out on some joke?

Even though it is commonly used, it is rather homophobic. Implying gay is bad. Tut tut damo.

Its the 21st century now im affraid.
