I'm surprised no-one picked up on this at 2135, as the BOTH newsroom view was replaced by a view of NBH, including a short, slow zoom:



There were also some issues during the 2100 hour with the graphics on the virtual display behind Clive Myrie - after initially displaying a perfectly normal static '9' graphic, it subsequently turned into this Shatliffed mess:

I did mention you may see more of the exterior of NBH!

I'm noticing a trend here....

However, I am delighted to see 9 return in the titles. Very Nine O'Clock News 1999-2000! Now all we need is Sissons and Buerk back for the 9 pm news and I would be completely happy.

Is Peter Sissons still with BBC News?

He retired a few years back but did a documentary for the beeb at Christmas I think.

He did a documentary on the Battle of the Atlantic in May. He was also on the Independent Hillsborough Panel.

Sissons needed a big clock on the desk to tell the time, goodness knows how big the auto cue would need to be.
I've seen Buerk on an ITV documantary recently.

Another thing I've noted about the 5 (which is in Studio C, Not A as mentioned above)is that the headline clap has been changed to the News Channel's version with the string, before they just used the World version which is just the clap.

Did anyone notice that the titles for last night's 5pm Bulletin being a little bit fast when they came up on screen?

The camera shots were showing the roof of BH down to Studio C.

I did, yes.

I've figured out why I think the new '5' and '9' graphics for the screens look weird - the globe doesn't spin. The only animation is the pulsating rings.

So it is! My Bad!

The devil made me say otherwise!
