At 9:37, a Sunday Morning edition of ‘the papers’ began with Rebecca Jones and two guests like normal during the evening but this is LIVE during the morning. An extra program?

Did anyone else read that in the voice of Marcus Bentley?

Yes. Seems like it is going to be a regular feature on a Sunday morning. Slightly surprised by the timing - would have though the 10am hour would have been more logical but guess this is aimed at a different audience to the Andrew Marr show on BBC1 and Broadcasting House on radio 4.

A new way of opening the news channel just now, the BBC1 bulletin is at 18:05, so Martine was on the catwalk with the half past sting played after the countdown had ended. This is the first I’ve seen the half past being used for a TOTH.

I see 'Meet the Author' has gotten itself a mini Studio A esq. desk coffee table and pedestal for the newsroom multi-purpose studio, with seats that look like they've come from the atrium area. Additionally, there's new pull advertising blinds and a new graphic package.

Looks nice. Better use of space than before where they felt shoved in a corner.

It seems more professional. And looks more visually appealing

New Theme Tune as well which is quite classy. I like. I hope David Lowe uploads it on his website along with Outside Source and BBC Business News as well as Business Edition and WNT which haven't been uploaded yet.

It's a great new look, just one thing - Nick and the guest seems to be a bit distant.

Sorry to be picky but they're using the old 'BBC News' logo from the 2008 era.

Also on the credits they used 'MCMXIV' which if I remember correctly is 1914?!

Ben Thompson from Business said on twitter that the business updates have now been extended with more bulletins at :45 past the hour between 8-5 rather than the previous 8-2. A new idea for the start of March.
