A different camera angle on the News Channel at 20.04 tonight, showing a full view of the newsdesk. I don't think I've seen that one before?

Posts like this are useless without images. It takes seconds to find the spot on iPlayer, screen grab it and stick it on something like imgur.

Anyway...

That's actually a nice view. At least it makes use of the LED front panel, which is all too rarely seen outside the TOTH and on Dateline London's wide shots.

Initially, wasn't the plan to have the headlines scrolling along it at the TOTH?

It's a bit distracting from what we're actually supposed to be watching, isn't it? The eyeline on the presenter seems too high to me.

I don't see how the text would be legible on that screen with the panel covering it.

The LED ring on the newsroom ceiling was planned to show headlines on, but the quality of it was too poor so just globe animations are used instead.

Have I missed something? Outside Source is apparently no longer on at 9pm. Have the they whipped it away fro the NC?

Outside Source is on at 8pm for the next few days because of the clocks altering in America I believe. I think it will go back to 9pm when British Summer Time begins. The same thing happened at the end of October.

I prefer it that way round. I'd much rather get a comprehensive look at the day's news at 9 rather than 8, harking back to the Nine o'clock News.

Make that all of this week and Next as we don't change our Clocks to British Summer Time until Easter Sunday.
