Forgive me if this has been mentioned earlier in the week and, if it has already been reported will someone please close the thread! But! Can someone explain to me why the N24 sting: is being used to take us back to the studio at *.

Interesting to see at 0900 that Joanna Gosling is presenting on her own on News 24 this morning. Wonder if it's a new thing or just someone forgot to turn up/be booked as second pres?

Hi, How often do BBC News 24 show the full 90 second countdown (or at least one more than 40 seconds!) at the top of the hour? Is it at specific times / dates? Thanks.

Anyone watching News 24 at the moment will notice the DOG is way off to the left - completely out of the 4:3-safety zone! �Is this because it's coming from the World gallery which doesn't have the DOG or am I off the map? (Edited by nodnirG kraM at 1:35 am on Feb.

Not that this is particularly beneficial to anyone, but I thought I'd mention it. This morning (not sure when, 10am at a guess) the weather before the top of the hour suddenly paused (which is odd considering it's live?) and went straight to a 70ish second countdown, which was nice to see.

Does anyone know whats happened to Martine Croxall and Heather McCarthy? Have they now left the BBC - they've not been on for ages and they have both been removed from the N24 website? Anyone know anything and if Alastair YAtes and DEborah Mackenzie is a permanent thing - they not that good either.

Apology Appearance on News 24

During the 9am headlines, the apology caption appeared for about 5 seconds. I didn't manage to get the vcr ready in time. I can't remember what it said (there was quite a lot of text on it) but what I do remember distinctly is the bbc world style background.
