A better version of the logo from the app interface.

It still looks atrocious, but at least the name is actually (sort of) visible now instead of it being just a C.

Looks like I'm the odd one out. I think it's a good change, suitable for teens, but acknowledging that BBC3 exists. It does remind me of the Central cake though.

I've got to say, I quite like these! Feels less 'childish' than the previous package. Kinda harks back to 2005-ish.

I agree, the use of colour, the simple graphics and the catchy tune work very well together imo. I don't understand why there's the two versions of the logo. The one used in the idents at least try's to represent CBBC rather than stripes.

This may mean that they could be expanding the demographic to Teenagers hopefully as they did do that before 2011

The bug is very BBC Three like...

There appears to be some live action versions of the idents as well. (Very Disney Channel)

The animation looks fairly standard, but it works well with the simple music. Though I hope that this isn't a new trend with putting the BBC logo in the upper left.

No sign of the studio yet. From memory it should have came on by now. Maybe they haven't finished it yet.

One of the idents in the set used up until yesterday featured Newsround's old "nr" logo within it. That particular ident was never either re-edited or withdrawn, even long after Newsround had rebranded. Rolling Eyes

As various idents in the previous set featured imagery from individual programmes' identities, I wonder how many other still-in-use idents were depicting outdated things (such as other old programme logos, former presenters/characters etc, or even programmes that were no longer being made/shown at all)?

Today's new look finally ends any/all such anachronisms.
