Ouch!
Sloppy branding at the end of the 8pm programme on C5HD, where the copyright notice used the old animated logo. Surely, when you've invested in a rebrand, you make sure programmes on your main channel follow it, at least for first time broadcasts, especially when you have used your nice new ECP.
It was also immediately followed by three trailers using the new branding.

Yes, noticed that on the prison documentary show too - a brand new series debuting on the day of the rebrand but with the old logo at the end. It's not that difficult to get it right surely - C4 seemed to manage it.
And really don't like the position of the DOG - no excuse for it to be pretty much closer to the centre of the screen than the corner.
P.S. Not the first time the channel hasn't had it's name in the idents, though a year later they were tweaked. (Don't remember these at all!)

Here is the mangled branding message . . .

They had time to push the logo out to the likes of VM & Sky for their EPGs.
I would have thought that taking care of programmes due for transmission were all part of the plan, whether they be new or old?
In the past older programmes with previous logos on have been replaced with newer ones, such as one with the 2002 'five' logo being replaced with the 2008 'FIVE' logo. I would have thought they'd want to do that with this relaunch, but maybe there wasn't enough time.

I've seen a few programmes throughout the last couple of days with the old logo at the end, it does seem a little odd. It can't be that hard just to amend the end to show the new logo can it?
Saying that, when ITV rebranded 'ITV Productions' to ITV Studios (can't remember which year it was), we would still get quite a few showings of the ITV Productions blue endcap, and same with the ITV rebrand in 2013, we would sometimes get the older style ITV Studios endcap.

The only deadline they seemed to be working too was TV Forums, and they missed that anyway. If they weren't ready they could have held off another week or so.
I'd have thought they'd have something within their package which can generate it live to cover the logo for repeats, like C4 did over a decade ago to hide the square logo on the endcaps.

I'd rather old logos were retained. That's how we end up with old ITV shows losing their endcaps in favour of "ITV Global Entertainment" or Fremantle.

I'm pretty sure they had a glitzy launch event planned, and probably plenty of outdoor advertising etc. booked well in advance. If I was them, I wouldn't have cancelled the launch because two members of this forum may have been offended by an old one-second endcap turning up.

Normally I'd agree, especially on archive programming of the likes you see on ITV3, Gold, or even Challenge, but I think in this case where they're showing relatively recent programming (from the last three years or so) it makes sense to put the new logo on, at least for broadcast on their own channels.
