I've worked out a basic package-model trade off table.

Other packages uploaded which we don't already have will be given a set in the same relative area as the ones listed. If BBC News Pres Pack A is what I've guessed it to be, then I will probably let the uploader take what they want and the same for any other 'bumper' packages. Some sets will have to be 'made to order' but if you haven't received your model within a week then you'll get a bonus one.

I should note to those not aware, that from listening to some videos of the National News from 2004/2006, the only changes that were made from 1999 were the titles and stings. The thunderclaps and beds had not changed until the 2007 Package!

The breakfiller recreation was mine, it was my track that's on that complication then... albeit after YouTube compressed it. I must dig out those files and re-render it. A random copyright claim is what took it down, not my doing, and not a BBC Worldwide request but YouTube doesn't tend to favour the littleman.

Oh and it was 6 minutes long, but like you about 4 was all I ever saw on air.

Actually Bail. I have never seen BBC World until I was at a University Campus in Melbourne, via Pay TV.
Outside that, I never knew that they had a World News channel. I never recall watching it at home until ABC News 24 started, where they only broadcast it for 30 minutes, 2-3 times a night. Often it's Impact or GMT, and if the controllers aren't paying attention, I may also get a glimpse of the BBC Countdown, as the ABC one is played over the top. (Yes, it happened...)

2003 - BBC LDN seems to be the BBC London Radio jingles in 2001.

Edited: as can be heard here: http://www.music4.com/music/catalogue/243/bbc-london/full-station-package.html#

BBC World News 2013

That Points West theme was awful, wasn't it? Do you have any more of the 2007 NWT? Short titles or stings?

Does anyone have any stings from BBC World News 2013? The close from the 2004 national package?

Well if I remember rightly there was that whole "On TV / On Radio / Online" gimmick that was used when it launched after the Newsroom South East split into BBC London / BBC South East Today. Then the rest of the English Regions used it for their post 2003-2008 eras in some form or another and didn't inform the radio stations (in my region's case BBC GMR* / BBC Lancashire / BBC Merseyside) to use it and tie it all up.

*As it was at the time.

I believe you going about this the wrong way, I do think that might put some people off. It just seems like your an MP3 whore who just want everything from BBC., trying to grab left right and centre. Take a piece of advice from someone who knows claim down.

All I'm trying to do is incentivise the process of uploading to the requests thread. A good proportion of requests on this forum are BBC News theme related so I thought, perhaps wrongly, it might be nice to have them all in one place so everyone can access. Your insinuation that I am some kind of MP3 whore is at best a misinterpretation of my motives and at worst personally insulting - if I was an MP3 whore I wouldn't be giving things in return, things I get regularly asked for anyway, I would be in the shadows PMing around tracks so nobody else could access them. I just thought for once on this forum there could be a little bit of community spirit. I know some people are unwilling to contribute to this thread and that is fine, but if they are willing they'll get a Sketchup file or two in their inbox as a way of thanks - they don't even have to follow the link if they don't want to. I don't think there is anything wrong with showing a little bit of gratitude for a change, rather than petty rudeness.

For the past few months this thread was a logjam of people requesting BBC News packages and not receiving any, in the last week we've had people uploading again rather than PMing each other. I think that is a good thing and hope this endeavour continues. Maybe my desire for a complete collection of BBC News tracks comes from my slight OCD around incompleteness, or maybe it comes from my admiration of David Lowe's consistently good work or maybe it's just because I'm a whore. But I don't see how thanking people is wrong.

Maybe a limited time offer isn't the way to go about things, but neither is insulting each other. I'm sorry if you've been offended by what I've done, but I just wanted to help speed things along. I can't donate any more tracks, so I resorted to the only resource I have which anybody would be interested in. I don't have to give other people my SketchUp files, especially not after last months events, but other members show an interest in my work and I thought this would be one use for them. I offer apologies to anyone else whose been insulted by this latest push for a complete open archive of BBC News packages, nevertheless I will continue to reward those contributors with any outstanding obligations I have made.

The World - 2003, found lying around on an old hard drive.

I like this music - it's a shame everything has to be so consistent these days, variety is the spice of life.

Does anyone have the BBC Breakfast package that was in use around 2005? (Similar, but not the same at the 2000 package)
