Please let me have your questions for composer David Lowe by 11am tomorrow (Thursday) for my 'Music from the Small Screen' feature, as heard on my radio programme. Feel free to PM me your questions, if easier.

Alright, I never wanted it to come to this. But I'm going to start bargaining, those that upload whole packages not previously uploaded will get prizes in their PM inbox. Given I have no packages I haven't uploaded or received from this thread, those prizes will have to be my sought after SketchUp files. The quality and breadth of the package will be given a recreation/set to the quality it deserves - for example - the GMT or Impact package is worth an N8 - where as two stings and a bed would be worth maybe a TC7 or an N6. Plus anyone who uploads any of these packages - Victoria Derbyshire, Outside Source or Business Live will be given access to my latest project. Not because I particularly enjoy those packages (bar Business Live) but they are stuck in my head and this is a way to get rid of them.

Once we fulfill the brief of this thread - a complete as possible directory of every BBC News package ever - I will tidy it up so they can all be accessed from one post. Thanks, I hope that's an incentive enough - but I wish for many new packages over the coming days. No PMs, the point of this thread is sharing not hoarding.

If it is what I think it is, a package that contains a large amount of the BBC News Package, then I would say in terms of worth that would be multiple SketchUp models.

There is a track in that package labelled "BBC World - 2003 Breakfiller Track [please check]".
I can confirm this is the Breakfiller for this 2003-2004 era. It was known at the time as Dynamic Junctions and I am sure someone on here can agree with me in that regard. Also there was a big rumpus at the time. If I remember because they replaced an 'immortal' Breakfiller with a weaker Breakfiller and it kind of split people on this forum down the line.

This is an example of it in the following YouTube clip (Apologies for the wrong aspect ratio):

That "[please check]" was my remark. Clearly it wasn't removed.
The reason why I put that there was to remind myself to be on the look out for a better quality version, as the track was taken directly off Lazyorangenet's Break-filler recreation (which has since been taken down)

I am also aware that a long version was made as heard from this 4 minute break-filler clip.

Apologies accepted.

The breakfiller recreation was mine, it was my track that's on that complication then... albeit after YouTube compressed it. I must dig out those files and re-render it. A random copyright claim is what took it down, not my doing, and not a BBC Worldwide request but YouTube doesn't tend to favour the littleman.

Oh and it was 6 minutes long, but like you about 4 was all I ever saw on air.

I've worked out a basic package-model trade off table.
*

Other packages uploaded which we don't already have will be given a set in the same relative area as the ones listed. If BBC News Pres Pack A is what I've guessed it to be, then I will probably let the uploader take what they want and the same for any other 'bumper' packages. Some sets will have to be 'made to order' but if you haven't received your model within a week then you'll get a bonus one.
