Interesting... Will it be nightly like it was on BBC 3? I imagine it will be on ITV 2 and not ITV. Wonder if they will let it go out uncut? I wonder if they took American Dad! as well or if it still up for grabs?
Only downside for those who don't have Sky is now you won't be able to see it in HD for free as ITV 2 HD is a pay channel.

It's a big rater for BBC Three especially for the time it goes out. Will be interesting to see how this does on the other side.

Not really. They announced years ago that they intended to drop it when the rights came up for renewal. I believe there was a short term extension relatively recently.
That said, it's no secret the BBC intend to close BBC Three. They have made that decision (effectively), it is up to the BBC Trust to veto it.
Think this pretty much confirms that BBC Three's fate is sealed. Despite the BBC Trust public consultation which just finished, to drop its biggest rating programme kind of says that the BBC have already made its mind up.

They didn't say they were going to drop it, they said they wouldn't pay "any price" to keep it. Like what happened with The Simpsons.
ITV2 HD is on Virgin.

Interesting purchase for ITV. They normally tend to stay clear of these sorts of programmes for some reason, but nice to see them getting it. I love Family Guy, even though i've seen all the episodes, i'll happily watch it when its on BBC Three if i'm up so as long as ITV don't put it out at some stupid time, then i'll watch it on ITV, even though the ads could be a pain, but I guess The Simpsons works on C4 with ads, so it may be ok.
Like others have said, wonder what will happen to American Dad. I've never got into that as much, but I know many people still like it.
