Good Morning Britain Re-boot

That makes sense, seeings how Sean's been pretty much ditched recently. Shame that the 4 presenting team didn't work out.

I hope you all enjoy my latest update. All feedback is gratefully received. I have changed the font and the colours for sport and entertainment. The original colours looked really nice on my Mac, but when I saw them on my smart phone (which isn't an iPhone) I was shocked to see how dark and dull the colours I'd used were!

Anyhow, here they are!

I just can't seem to like GMB's actual astons, to me there are too many different elements. Unfortunately, it's the same here, the curves, the spacing, the logo looks lost.

Not bad, I feel that there is way too much grey and the green background on the "ITV NEWS" ticker part looks awful. Maybe try and keep it linked with ITV News instead of just changing it because you can. Do you have an image of what will be on screen say during the weather? Will it just be the clock? Also the tag sport (or entertainment etc), and the headlines would be better together instead of having them glued beside each other, kinda like fading into each other if that makes sense?

Overal not too bad, a few things could be done to make it much better! I would love to see your studio! Email or PM me them and I can give you feedback

Ronaldy21 please look at the most recent upload. I know there have been two today, which may be confusing but I have made some large changes, which aren't recognised in your comment. Also please read the thread. The studio (as pictured on page 1 and 2) can be found on the Google Sketchup warehouse, publicly. So feel free to look and change where appropriate.

This is like a powerpoint botched version of the current graphics, something is missing here. When you go simplistic the choice of font you use is important, the font feels rather plain and boring.

Ah, thought you had created a whole new studio. Do you have that image?

I think the ticker should run behind the clock - it looks a bit odd at the moment on the left hand side.

So I've made some changes to the design, taking on board you're advise, and working with the design I already had. I am going to put up three different stages in this design process. You'll recognise the first two from earlier steps (which are in the spoiler) although the final image is my latest attempt- and in my opinion my favourite. I hope you like it!

These images only portray Sports Presentation, as I haven't designed the whole package with the same template as I have re built the graphics from scratch.




Sport, and Entertainment when it comes to it, will remain in the ticker throughout the time on screen with information passing behind the shape.
The Rings around the time will pulse with 'Top Story' or whole screen graphics, like Breaking news, Sport and Entertainment.

I would be really grateful for any feedback, and if there are elements of different designs that need to be incorporated then just let me know and I'll see what I can do!

The last image is the best, although you have butchered the logo and clock. The font should really stay the same for the logo and the clock should be elsewhere, perhaps push the 'SPORT' tag on the ticker further right and put the clock there. The rings coming out of the logo could be coloured to the GMB palette.
