The 8pm is supposed to still be coming from A according to a certain Mr Cook on Twitter, presumably because it saves staffing two galleries needlessly. Possibly some glitch relating to handing control of the opt switch to A from D?

There's something I dislike about the backdrop - possibly because it's so fake-looking, being across three angled screens. Certainly I prefer it to fake (or even footage of real) newsroom backdrops, but because it looks so obviously false it just sits wrong with me. Perhaps I might prefer it were it all one long screen as in studio C, but even that has always looked wrong.

Maybe it's for Breakfast continuity? (Incidentally this mornings Breakfast updates still had the Newsroom backdrop)

It won't surprise me if the position used by the weather presenter earlier is where the Breakfast and Saturday evening bulletins will come from.

It was the use of anti-homeless spikes not homelessness. I assume she is the only person (troll) alive who would dare defend them in a public debate.

Bit shocked that BBC London chose to have Katie Hopkins on to debate homelessness.
