Not quite sure where to put this so a bit of background...Quite dramatic in Kuala Lumpur this morning 3 family members of those on the missing Malaysian plane went in to the press conference room whilst they were setting up for it and unveiled a banner before being forcibly removed from the room
Mark Stone stayed at the Press conference and Kay stayed outside the door where the women were being held, During the press conference they moved the woman and Kay amongst many others gave chase getting knocked all over and even running the wrong way up a long escalator and falling over at the top, she also lost her phone and other bits.
People often say she is heartless but seemed to be really touched by this and then she chased after a senior police officer trying to find out why they wouldn't let the women speak to the media

You've left out the bit where she confused a hotel worker with a policeman...
Atrocious even by her standards.

Not sure you can get away with 'chaos at news conference' headline if it was heavily contributed to by you

In what way did she confuse a hotel worker with a policeman?

Well to confuse the hotel worker with a policeman was easily done when it was shown on air as he too was wearing pretty official looking uniform like the police had, plus she was asking why this was happening.
I thought it was really good reporting, showing what quite frankly the Malaysian officials didn't want the world to see. After all it started with the officials dragging crying family members out the press conference when they wanted to speak to the world's media to find out where their family members were.
She also highlighted the Malaysian police spoke English all week to her but today, somehow, seemed to only speak in their native tongue.
Also, Mark Stone working with Kay shows the benefits of having a reporter working in the region for the past few years, bringing his knowledge regarding the ruthless Asian media and attempting to speak off camera with officials to see if that had any effect.
Additionally, the BBC didn't show this, despite Kay & Mark mentioning a BBC reporter getting knocked over after being flung out the way by officials.

Some of the officials were in different uniforms so she just noticed someone behind the line of police and assumed that's who he was, I think it was Mark Stone who then said he was a hotel worker
