WELL alas TV ARK has failed to make the minor change to update Carlton second pres to 1995, after saying 12months ago it would do it.

Oh dear. Perhaps the guy left it that way for 12 months because he knows how much it winds you up?
Well what can you do! Thats life: as Esther used to say. It would be rather sad if someone did that just to wind someone up instead of trying to improve Tv pres for all for years to come, instead of mis-leading new users to the Television pres

If it is, it's only on a handful of them. There's plenty of new clips that seem to have the same fps.
He said smoother. Better frame rate?

TV Ark could really improve its communication when it comes to site updates, is this twitter account genuine? I don't see why it should be left idle, its common for all Pres and Branding sites to have a social media presence nowadays. Social media would be handy for visitors to keep up to date and to get in touch for query's. There is no contact form for general query's on the site - When contacting the site you have to choose between half a dozen people. Not all these members seem to be active any more which makes it unlikely to get a reply. If the site doesn't turn to social media, it would an improvement if there was just one contact form on the site which be could accessed by all of the members.

A few points:
You can send a general email to this address: inbox@tv-ark.org.uk
TV ark was looking into Social media type thing: http://www.tv-ark.org.uk/mivana/qanda.html Its never got off the ground, which is a shame.

Surely it should be obvious by now that the site doesn't have one overall manager/leader like TV Live or The Ident Gallery, who dedicate a lot of time in maintaining a social media presence and updating the site? It's a non-profit group of people who like TV pres and wanted to share their archives for other people to see. There are still updates but after 15 years I'm sure it's fair to say that some of them have lost some interest in adding new content as it's mostly complete these days.
If I was part of TV Ark, I would suggest getting someone who is willing to generally maintain the site, someone who isn't necessarily responsible for uploading new content but for fixing errors on pages and responsible for support. That's up to them though of course.

Thanks for the address, it would be good if this was added to the site.
