It's amazing what difference one single word makes!! I understand completely. However, I don't think you will get your wish. It will be saturday or at latest Tuesday or Wednesday next week.

It's definetly this week they premiere it's been confirmed on twitter by bbc ones social media executive. I reckon by the trailer the ident soundtrack is already there the 3 notes which are in all the idents are in there. Everything is looking so much better than last year as someone said little is more, definetly agree on that
When was the last time they held them back until Christmas Eve - I'm guessing probably the final balloon ident?
According to this archived page from TV & Radio Bits, the last time they started on Christmas Eve was 1999. In 2000 the ident was revealed on the evening of the 22nd December.
The 2001 idents were first used on the 21st December and were the first set of Christmas idents to be used up until and including New Year's Day.
That one is strange there is NO Alice in wonderland...
It's just an edited version of the original trailer first shown on the 3rd. They could have still slotted in a quick visual of Alice though.
It will be slightly confusing on BBC One this Christmas if they showing both the animated and live-action (2010) versions of Alice In Wonderland.
As an aside, I notice BBC Two are showing Disney's Fantasia on Christmas Eve. I think I'm right in saying that this film has never before been shown on UK television?
