See above and spot the difference... Two versions - the top example is known as 'Exterminate'.
Originated from the Doctor Who Night pres in 1999, but stayed in use after that.

Can't they either use these or adapt these idents from the nineties for the 50th anniversary? Maybe use an actual Dalek and replace the old BBC Two logo with either the current BBC One/Two logo?

The music from the seascape ident was used during an item on this week's blue peter (around 7 minutes in). When I first heard it, I knew I recognised it from somewhere, but took a couple of minutes for me to work it out.
The music you refer to is Alt-J's 'Intro', of which an instrumental version is used on one of the Seascape idents. Instrumental versions of Alt-J's tracks 'Something Good' and 'Fitzpleasure' are used on Tent (Polar version), and Mirror, respectively.
