Nice bit of credit squeezing going wrong on BBC Two Scotland at the end of " Would Like To Meet Again " just before eight.
The announcer seemed a bit hesitant when she was saying that " Who Do You Think You Are? " was away to start. The reason for her hesitancy became apparent when the BBC Two " box " on the squeeze told us that " Tiger - Spy in the Jungle " was about to come on.
Think somebody forgot to flick a switch in Scotland? Lol

Oh my God that went right over my head. I think you're right the cyan text is a hint, why else would it be mentioned?
Cyan text is may be misleading... though the colour does feature.
Let's just say; you may not have needed your sunglasses much this Summer, but they'll prove quite handy tomorrow.

This is not filling me with confidence. Do you know why they decided to tweak their presentation? And I think it's ridiculous that they spent all of that money to go to South Africa to film the Chase idents and then they're just going to withdraw them!!! They should get rid of Sunroof instead.

What the...!? I don't know what to make of this - though my gut reaction is not a positive one, I can tell you that much.
OK, so today was the last chance to see some of these idents, but seeing as I've only just checked this topic, the entire thing has caught me completely by surprise - and hardly in a good way.
Not very nice to know they've decided to get rid of the Cappuccino idents; they were the visually one of the very best ideas to come out of this set. As for the mention of the 1st Mirror being dropped while the 2nd version gets retained, what sort of logic were they using when making these decisions?
It might be all well and good that the Tagging ones have now been dropped too, but there was a 4th ident that I never got to see, and AFAIK no-one else here captured it either!
If all these idents are being thrown away forever as opposed to just rested, it seems a bit of a shocking waste of pres - and perhaps not exactly money well spent either. What's going to replace all of this!?
Anyone remember the first iteration of that Wonderland endboard which used a violet colour for the text that was a headache to read? Perhaps we are going to have something along those ghastly lines. Of course, with that, there's always a chance that a number people will complain about struggling to read it, then those designs would have to be binned / replaced too - and so the cycle continues...

It's a bigger waste of money though. They went to South Africa to film the Chase idents. It could have been filmed in a wood in this country but no they had to go abroad. And now they're just junking them!?! Absolutely ridiculous. I don't understand.
