Guessing Alison Hammond is going to be doing the weather tomorrow given some of the Tweets.

I don't think using one single video is representative of the many years of This Morning to which I refer - a bit too generalised I think. What you can't undermine is that the programme's reliance on reality television, Keith Lemon and alike have made the show, editorially, more tabloid: the authority of Richard & Judy as journalists, the phone-ins, the more frequent health features are the examples to which I refer in my original statement.

Having said that, This Morning does indeed interview politicians and the news review isn't bad. Swings and roundabouts - it depends on the day, which is why your video isn't the best of evidence.

I never knew that Lucy Meacock had presented This Morning. She looked awfully like Judy!

No, in her link from the floating weather map, she mentioned Keith Lemon would be presenting tomorrow's bulletin.

I'd rather Alison do that than him.

So every series except the last few have had 'extended' theme music, I wonder if they'll keep it at the new one, or I wonder if there will be a new 'extended' version.

Didn't the 2009 version have an 'extended' version? Pretty sure I've heard it somewhere...

By 'extended' do you mean the extra bit from the end of the middle section before the climax?
I'm sure when TM relaunched in 2009 it used the full 30'' theme while from about 2010/2011 they seemed to use a 23'' theme.
Both are available to download on www.televisiontunes.com/ - just type in This Morning and one is 'This Morning Title Mock 2009' and the other is 'This Morning - 2011'.

Very Happy
I much prefer the longer versions and hopefully we'll hear the new long version soon!
Can't wait for tomorrow's show Smile

There was a proper full version of it, not just a mock. I'm sure it got posted in the requests thread but I can't seem to find it any more. I think it was posted along with the headline bed and short titles...

There's not a full version as such, just the intro that was used, and the longer version for the credits. Anything else would have been a mock.

Do they not have any broadcast quality archive of their 80's/90's titles? And the first episode? I've seen better copies uses on other archive shows.
