This Morning

Loving the new theme tune , very nostalgic.

The new theme does have that nostalgia feeling, I may have to get used to it but on the first listen the old version wins.

Given it's TM's anniversary year, it's no real surprise the new theme harks back to the 80s/90s heyday.

Like all TM revamps, they take time to bed in, but I eventually get used to them, however, really not keen on the new Hub pods for the team working in there.

Can anyone post rips?

They just makes a small space look even smaller..

They seem really odd and counter productive as they have to keep being moved for different filming angles. I liked the minimalist style of the hub with the ring desk alone.

Agreed, one of the items I liked from the summer series was the news review guests in the Hub replying to viewer comments, which would be difficult to do with all those pods in the way.

And on the note of the refresh , I think it is time for nivea to change that awful jingle in their sponsorship ads . Or even better for this morning to get a new sponsor.

An interesting idea from Pakokelso2013 that came up on the next video options after that video ended is the mix of the 90's/00's saxophone theme tune with the 2009 version.

I must say, the first time I heard it I wasn't too keen on it. But after listening to it several times, It has grown on me.
