Not really that exciting, but I thought some of you might be interested in the current BBC London studio that was due to be a shop. The One Show will be filling this void, but you can see the bits of plywood currently covering up the windows! It also highlights how tight a space it is!

(They're in a spoiler as they are quite big!)

Thanks for these! How does BBC London always end up with such small studio-spaces?

The studio in question is behind the blanked-out windows to the right of the picture - which means the view will be of old BH. The blanked-out windows on the left used to be the BH cafe, but that's currently closed - I believe it is due to reopen eventually.

Are they planning to open those blinded windows when the One Show move in?
Could be risky if protesters for this,that or the other decide to stand behind with their placards.

Well as that's private land they should be sorted if that does happen - Pebble Mill had similar trouble with protestors and the like!

Helps this clarifies for those unsure of what studio does what.

Studio A (Virtual) is HardTalk. Newswatch The 8 summary News Channel (2100-2000) and shortly BBC London
Studio B is World(1200-1900), Newsnight, Marr and Sunday Politics
Studio C is World(1900-1200) and News Channel (1700-1800)
Studio D is yet to be commissioned
Studio E is news Channel
Studio F is a clip studio akin to N10 at TVC and does 60 seconds and will do BBC Londons breakfast opts
Studio G is a CSO Weather Studio
Studio H is a CSO Weather Studio
Studio J is the Weather position on the balcony.
Studio K is in the business unit and as said does Meet the Author.....

There are other studios dotted around NBH such as MPA and 62P along with Arabic and Persian studios and several for Radio(Yes, TV studios for radio)
Then there is also the studio and gallery being kitted out for the One Show.....

I don't think I've seen this studio before - what else does it do? The background looks similar to that on the World Service set that does Russian bulletins etc. - Is it the other side of that?
