Will reporting Scotland get a new set anytime soon? , the current one has been in since 2007 and looks tired now!
And will Kirsty Mccabe be returning to reporting Scotland , after leaving?

In theory, they have more space to play with now, as the Review Show comes from somewhere else inside the building now and not Studio C. A Studio B style-set, but downsized, could fit and work quite well - it'd also be much better for Sportscene.

Plus the Politics show, and Newsnight Scotland.

Agreed. A London BH Studio B-style set would also fit for Newsnight Scotland IMO.

I know how much you enjoy your nostalgia, but it's a bit of a slap in the face to the very excellent current crop of presenters when you keep digging up old dusty-bones.

Perhaps you should move back to Scotland and become fans of Jackie and Graham and Sally and Catriona - not to mention Jamie and Morag and... well I could go on.

Nostalgia keeps me going sometimes.........

I am already a fan of Sally and Catriona. And Jackie. Don't know the others, alas.

It does look a lot nicer that the old one which looked appauling, with a TV on an actual stand.

Looks better than the previous one, which is odd. Still, I love the music.

Nice titles on this afternoon's Reporting Scotland at 1:30 - pictures of Andy Murray superimposed over the opening titles with the normal music substituted for Light And Tuneful and then the programme ended with a montage accompanied by Sporting Occasion.

No repeat of that this evening - though Jackie was live at Dunblane Sports Club. The closing montage, curiously, used a Manic Street Preachers track.
