Yeah I am sorry for posting my two mocks on page 599, I should know better really I been here for a long time, don't know even know what came over me, having said that I reckon those lower thirds I did in the mocks, is what we'll see tomorrow, its always exciting when BBC News relaunches, and this I reckon is their biggest relaunch purely as they are moving away from TVC.

Here, we already know what the graphics are going to be like from having seen them on World. The BBC have admittedly done a fairly good job of stopping people taking photographs of Studio E, but then they released a trailer last week that gave us a fairly good look at it, and now today we've been shown the TOTH sequence. Agreed. While I'm always hunting high and low to get just the tiniest tit-bit of information, it does seem this time that we practically know almost exactly what we're going to see tomorrow already. This is mainly because we've already seen a studio which is practically identical to the NC's already on air.


Which begs the question why didn't they re-launch N24 and WN at the same time? And to make matters less suspenseful, NN, Marr and SPol have been operating at NBH for quite some time now.


Oh yes, let's forget about all the technical issues in moving one of the world's largest news operations to a completely new and barely tested building just so there can be a bit of suspense for a tiny minority of the population. Come on!

Would the BBC auction off things like the news desks, or the frosted glass panels from the sets? Should the more obsessive fans keep an eye on the skips outside the news centre at TVC?

More of a midboard.

Only one newsroom pan at the top of the hour. The countdown ends differently to World, but I won't spoil the surprise entirely. There's definitely a few treats in the countdown.

Generally speaking they donate them either to Wood Norton, BBC Academy or to local colleges for their media productions, or they end up on the BBC News tours (if such a thing exists). I don't recommend skip raiding on Wood Lane, it'll result in a S136...

Given that other BBC News services have moved to BH in recent months, what are the chances that a guided tour will be given to domestic audiences?

Also, another bone to pick related to a Newswatch feature which says the move will save them over the long run because it consolidates all news services under a single roof. Except for one thing: aren't they forgetting Salford?

Even at 12.00 or 12.30. Imagine if the pope will have been chosen at around that time tomorrow instead of last week. Then again 13.00 is a strategic time to do the relaunch just in case. As we know, the nationals are designed to accommodate opt-outs from N24 and at the same time run as is. In other words, in case the "nightmare" will happen, the re-launch will likely push through at 13.00 for viewers on BBC1 as normal.
