Earlier it was BBC NC-produced Oscars 2013 special programming, live from N6... which was aired a few hours after the Oscars telecast. I don't see the point of having an Oscars special a few hours after the awards show was finished.

Also, mis-mash graphics ala-strike day.

For European viewers who just woke up and couldn't watch the show itself (which is live from 02.30 cet till 5 or 6) it was a good chance to catch up on who won what.

They've fiddled with the Newsday titles, they look terrible.

I didn't think they had either, they just look the exact same.

It is a tad. As much as people seem to like seeing the cameras, I think they add to the clutter, although there's not much they can do about that with the current design.

I don't mind when camera's are dotted across the studio for example a centre camera for the presenter, left, right for presenter etc but when the camera's are side by side and touching it looks cluttered.

The backing strap should size depending on the length of the location text. This should then stay permanently on screen, the filler text can then alternate between the location and kical time. An alternative would be to increase the time interval between changes. Was getting hypnotic for the 75min St Peter's Sq., long OB this am.
