Well apparently all the News Channel and News at 1, 6 and 10 will come from the same studio, Studio E. So not quite sure what that means?? No in studio rehearsals!?!?
Potentially having Studio C free from 12pm to 6.30pm, the News at 1 and 6 could be broadcast from there but I understand they want to maintain the look of he News Channel and News at 1, 6 and 10 and keep it consistent.
So realistically from what I've seen of the studios they would all have to come from Studio E which is extremely unique having a backdrop to the newsroom.
Although they now have Studio A which is a complete green screen, virtual studio. Though I doubt or sincerely hope they don't use that!
I always thought that the studios were going to be 'bases' for the channels, but won't necessarily be glued here all the time. If the news channel is just going to use Studio E and nothing else, that seems a bit of a waste!
Remember the Overnights will be coming from BBC World News, and the various programmes that break up the schedule will be coming from Studios B and C, also Studio E will now have two "modes" for presentation, the Screens backdrop, and from the desk.
Will it be on some sort of rotator then, much like Sky News?
Also, will the news channel be broadcasting from a special studio during the Olympics, much like World News?
For the NC and any other programmes, have to worked out a way so they don't have to fling out a broadcast for a other to rehearse?
