For comparason there's the current/future (Albeit glossed up) titles, notice the placename (Squashed) 'NEWCASTLEUPONTYNE' *bangs head*
So Martin, this is great!

Well I think its time to close the Gallery... nobody will EVER top this.
This is truly the greatest ever mock I have ever seen... EVER.
Martin... just... wow.

Interestingly the designer of the broadcast titles stopped the endboard on the orange!

Well they look the same as everything Lambie Nairn has done for the BBC in the last few years, so I guess that's a complement - technically speaking an absolutely superb effort.
Just ironic though in moving the show to a new studio in a new city in an effort to make viewers outside of London connect with it more that every effort will be made so that viewers barely notice the difference.
P.S. Is the Gallery front page screwed up for anyone else viewing in Firefox?

Yes - here, only a bit fewer than half of the thumbnails come up as blank. The title / date text then gets shifted up and into them, making it unreadable white-on-white until a highlight or rollover reveals it.
For this particular one, the thumbnail is absolutely fine just now.

This mock just defines awesomeness.

Martin, you don't need me to repeat this but this is simply outstanding work. If the real titles show a modicum of the attention to detail demonstrated in abundance here we'll be all right.
The flying orb shots, though entirely accurate when compared to the relevant real world sequences, are a little lacking in gusto in comparison to the opening and close. As I say, it all depends on how far you intend to depart from the genuine article because as a recreation its pretty much spot on.
And that's the biggest compliment I can pay it. I was never a fan of the international orb. You've won me over.

Utterly impressive. Extraordinary attention to detail, and the passion and enthusiasm for your work is evident throughout as always, Martin. Very well done indeed.
Personally - and this is not to fault your work - I prefer the direction you explored in your earlier Breakfast mock (and I'm simply horrified to see the 'disco ball' make an appearance here), but that's just a matter of taste.
As ever, you've put the rest of us to shame. *claps*
