BBC North West Tonight

There is a big screen in front of a window in the Singapore Studio that ratchets up into the ceiling, whos to say that wont be the case here... they would be completely doolally mental to cover over windows with a decent view out over salford quays. Looking at the few pictures we have of the studio the lightboxes and screens seem to match the widths of the windows exactly and I am absolutely certain that we have yet to see the studio used to its full potential.

So the smaller studio has a glass side, looking into the newsroom.

Media City is showing how great a media location it is now. The new NWT studios are so such better.

Just spotted Late Night Kick Off in the NWT studio off iPlayer. Isn't yellow such a lovely colour?! Doesn't clash at all with the red sofa!

Its demonstrably fine.

How much effort would it be to just move the sofa really? It really doesn't look good.

Is this studio the permanent home for this programme? ...if it is, then I'm sure they'll invest in a sofa at some point down the line, if not, what is the point of wasting all that money... now i've said that, the purple Sunday Politics chairs would be fine with that yellow.

Most of the regions are using red furniture, even BBC East who don't use their own facilities and have a dedicated LNKO set. At least you have some yellow in the set too, there were a couple of the regions last year who's only yellow on the entire set was the BBC Sport logo on the screen.
