Biographies for Chloe and Sarah-Jane have now also been added to the Sky News Website. Wonder if this means they are no longer freelance?

I think it's ridiculous that biographies like Gemma Morris or Chloe potter are listet on the Sky News Website but NOT the biographie of the great PAULA MIDDLEHURST

Gillian Joseph on 2-5pm today, First time I've seen her doing something other than the secondary sunrise presenter for months

It was also nice to see Colin Brazier back on sunrise for a couple of days this week, Mark Longhurst was doing it on tuesday, I'm going to miss Mark on weekend sunrise but as I don't see it very often hopefully he will be on the 9pm-12am shift, He seems much more friendly than Eamonn, Not a fan of Stephen Dixon but do go through periods of finding him ok and then others of finding him annoying

Most surprised to see Jeremy Thompson on this week, will he get a month off now to recover?

Can somebody explain to me how skynews decides which biographies they put on the Websites and which not? Every presenter is now listet except paula middlehurst and lisa knights although it seems that many more like Chloe Potter, Gemma Morris or Sarah Jane Mee are freelancers as well

Paula Middlehurst and Lisa Knights are freelance. If you read their biographies, you will see that Gemma Morris works full-time for Sky News on the red button and iPad, Sarah Jane Mee is an employee of Sky and Chloe Potter is employed by Sky as a presenter for the Sky News and "interactive media". So those three are all employed at Sky in some way, not just the news channel, whilst the other two are not full-time Sky employees.

Jeremy Thompson has presented during the Christmas schedule for a few years now for Sky. And I don't know what your obsession is with bringing up his time off. He has done a huge amount of work this year for Sky taking minimal holidays. He has been on a number of OB's for Sky and has been central to all their major coverage during the year. He will probably take a couple of weeks off to recharge the batteries for 2012 after what was a grueling year for him.

Do you have a list? Off the top of my head I can only recall him going to Syria.

Jeremy has done an enormous amount of coverage for Sky in the last 12 months. He was the only permitted broadcaster allowed in Syria in June along with Robert Nisbett. He was in Tripoli for quite a while anchoring Sky's coverage and he also went to Islamabad and Abbotabad to anchor sky's coverage on the death of Osama Bin-Laden. Although he did not headline the Royal Wedding coverage he did present his usual program from Buckingham palace. He also spent more time in the studio than ever taking only a couple of weeks holidays during the year. He was in studio throughout the riots in August and lead the way on the phone hacking coverage having only arrived back from foreign duty. Also, he has a big year ahead of him covering yet another Presidential election in the US and another The Olympics an no doubt many more events.

1. Syria
2. Libya
3. Pakistan for a few days.

Hardly as far-flung as other presenters. I can remember him being off for weeks on end at some points in the year though.

Bold: Hardly a "Major" congratulations is needed.
Underlined: We are talking about this year
Overall: There are other presenters/reporters who worked harder... *Cough* Alex Crawford

Also, i'm not sure for how long but I think Lisa Holland was in Tripoli 3 times, I believe in stints of 1 month of 3 three months....
