I think Mr Boulton and Sky would have enough about him to have other sources than just that one, if that one at all. Its another person trying to undermine Sky News and Kay Burley. These people want to grow up.

Adam Boulton did attribute it to the Daily Mail and I think either he or Kay Burley mentioned it not being on the Daily Mail website yet so it could well have been based purely on that tweat. Unless you know of any other sources claiming that Vince Cable has resigned.

It may have been doesn't mean it has been. Unless there is anyway of proving it was the only source then yes, bad on Sky. I would also like to know how this ends in with 'sacking Kay Burley'.

Everything should end with the sacking of Kay Burley.

Why? Just because she controversial sometimes, or is it you want to silence her? People only want to get rid of someone if they or something they relate to feel threatened. If you really think that low of someone, but you don't really care, then you would just ignore someone.

She's "controversial" because she is a poor journalist. Her balance and judgement belies her decades of actual experience, and she is offensively rude.

I am not in any way "threatened" by her, so it can hardly be the "only way" people have arrived at this conclusion (I am by no means alone in this view).

Your psycho-babble would make Ms Burley herself proud. Spurious 2+2=5 conclusions based on nothing at all.

I generally do ignore her by choosing not to watch Sky, but I might be inclined to change that habit were she to be removed.

Caught a bit of Sky the other night for the first time in ages and Martin Stanford was on. He looked like he'd rather be anywhere else. Clearly not enjoying the NSW slot and who can blame him, it's tedious to watch as well as you can't even have it on in in the background for long with it repeating so much. Also noticed the new weather graphics which are absolutely atrocious and will serve no help to anybody this cold spell except whoever it was that actually designed them! And the fact they are reporting tweets from unofficial or parody accounts as news is hugely embarrassing for them. Nobody is setting out to undermine Sky News as one poster absurdly suggested, they are doing a perfectly good job of making themselves look very silly all on their own.

Is she the one who has been making occasional appearances on the overnights?
