Is it only me that finds the name Lorraine very odd for a TV show?

Well Loraine Kelly presenting it so I can see the logic and by the looks of the logo its going to be one of those housewives shows that features consumer , fashion tips , music and chat etc. its her show so why not call it that it's not at all.

How on earth can you tell all of that from the logo?
It just strikes me as odd, the X Factor isn't called Simon for example.

I'm still confused by that concept. Could you explain it to me?

I would agree with that. The word 'Lorraine' on a pink background certainly evokes feelings of fashion tips, music and chat in me.

I suppose the name has been chosen because that's how some people refer to the programme anyway (well those that don't call it GMTV that is). A bit like Richard and Judy, many people used to refer to This Morning by their names so when they moved to Channel 4 they used their names for the programme.

Jeremy Kyle and Kilroy for example. These programmes weren't called "a bunch of t*ts" which might have been a more accurate titles.

Most of that comment was just nonsense.

Do you ever spend even just a moment considering what you are about to post on this board, ginofish?

This isn't twitter: we don't need to know your every waking random and illogical thought.

This thread descended into parody a long time ago, I can't tell what's real and what's trolling!

Well, you will always hear people saying "Did you see Lorraine today?" So it is a suitable title.

Promo needs to hurry up quick!

MarkHeye: Just seen a sneek peek at the new Lorraine studio. Very chic it is too, can't wait to get in there!

Will your hands fall off if it isn't shown today? I hope they do.

And I can honestly say I've never heard anyone say "Did you see Lorraine today?" You're probably talking to ginofish too much, as in, he's the only person you talk to, because you talk AT the rest of us.
