Metropol: SCANDALOUSLY FAB

The only reason I am saying what I said was due to the fact that a lot of members and admin on Metro are the first to moan about things that are wrong with such sites as Digital Spy and even this one, so I was flipping it around for once. Simples.

Well I think that's fair enough. What with the millions of pounds that the Google Ads bring in, you'd think that Metropol could develop their own app, wouldn't you?

Here's some 'tittle-tattle' from people with so little conviction about their thoughts, that they have to hide them away on a little used forum that doesn't allow a response from their subject.

The fact that they seem unable to post them in the appropriate thread on here says more about them than their subject of choice, perhaps!

However, it's nice to know that Spit is such an avid reader of my comments on the Guardian website.

I hope he appreciates me giving his own "slagging off" activities a wider audience.

Stuart - the point of "The Lounge" as was, and now "Metropol247" is as a place for general discussion as well as an arms-length site for members to vocalise their frustration with others without it spilling into TV Forum threads. We have hundreds, nay thousands of unique page hits per week - more than sufficient to pay for the overheads with advertising. You may think that without you it has crumbled to naught - but I'm afraid that's erroneous, and points to your megalomaniac tendencies.

I say this, not to educate you - as, before you were banned, you were one of the more prolific moaners in the thread you're pointing at now - but so that others may better understand your hypocrisy, and your propensity to tell fibs about a site you claim never to read.

I would have "allowed [you] to keep [your] dignity" as you requested in your Private Message to me of earlier today had you opted not to further goad both me and the members of Metropol.

Whatever shred of dignity remains may want to scurry away now and take cover - for if you're wincing at being the latest "annoyance" for the members posting in that thread, things may get too hot to handle if you carry on as you are now.

Just how is Gavin supposed to treat Metropol? Jokingly? If I had created something like Metropol, I would take it seriously, especially if the figures quoted by Gavin are true. If you treat your own website as a joke, you may as well have the same attitude as BBC Idents etc.

As for taking yourself seriously, well, that's his right. How do you take yourself?
