Really enjoyed that programme... will probably get the extended version on DVD when it comes out in November.

It was a truly excellent programme. He also mentioned the Doctor Who theme and demonstrated brilliantly that while completely scary, when you slow the chords down it sounds like Belgian Jazz. There was also a great sequence of mock 70s cop show music... It's a must watch IMO!

Having searched for that video, I was a bit disappointed it was "Non Stop" and not "The Awakening". Sad

I've already mentioned this in another thread, but Kanal A in Slovenia uses The Awakening -- perhaps better known as the ITN News at Ten theme -- for its evening news (you may see a 15-second commercial before the clip starts):

Strictly speaking (and sorry to be pedantic), that version of the theme is called 'Breaking News'. 'The Awakening' was the original version of the News At Ten theme.

I think there are both Greek and Canadian broadcasters who have also used various versions of ITV News' music. It always seems a bit strange seeing news from a different country using music incorporating Big Ben's chimes.

I guess unless you knew it was Big Ben (and some people around the world possibly haven't heard it) it could just be a bell!
