Chie, I think the on-screen summary was in fact referring to Tomasz's outfit, as opposed to the weather, by the looks of it!!!

I've just noticed this tonight as well with Laura Tobin. Don't the BBC used bluescreen instead of greenscreen, though?
I wish the BBC would sort out the lighting in their weather studios - Laura Tobin looked as if she had green hair on the forecast on the news channel just now. Peter Gibbs often has a green outline too.

They maybe use more than one studio - either that or they have changed colour very recently - I remember seeing the bluescreen on an earlier episode of The Weather Show.
Looking at the photo it might be the same studio.
EDIT: This link seems to suggest that they use differing colours.
(I'm half asleep - I've had to edit this so many times!)

That sounds right; I do remember seeing the screen was backlit, and I wondered why.
Anyway, Laura Tobin's hair seems to be fixed.
I seem to recall in one behind the scenes thing, it was mentioned that the colour of the screen could be changed by the lights behind it.

Paul Hudson used to have to contend with a green screen in the main studio for the Yorkshire forecast and a blue screen for the DTL forecast for Hull before the move to the new Leeds building. This meant either a change of outfit or making sure he was wearing neither colour.

Well being Paul it would be easy not to wear blue or green!
