CNN International & Domestic

That's great news.

Some interesting YWT editions lately, including solo anchored versions with Rosemary Church (today) and Isha Sesay (Thursday).

They have totally lost it with YWT. It used to be a dual anchored show with interviews,Q&A, and a different look at news. Now it is a mess. It is the same as World News.

i guess it's because the US simulcast is long gone, darn elections... again.

Richard Liu presenting today's World News on CNN International. Richard is an unfamiliar face to me. Can anyone confirm whether he is a regular face on CNN's domestic programming?

It's holiday season, possibly explaining the absence of Ralitsa etc.

no im sure ralista did steven fraziers slot today from 0700 cet - 1300cet, im sure she is not on holiday, but asier namdar was back on world news last night which was a good sign

Richard sometimes does the slot from 0000 CET on weekends. That slot used to be presented by Isha Sesay and Asiah Namdar sometimes.
Latley it was presented by a lot of CNN.com anchors. I think Lui is one of them too.

Reggie someone is on now, he is very good! He doesn't come across as being to American like Clancy does, something I think CNNI is careful about.

Richard was previously a CNN online anchor for their web bulletins before moving on to doing some anchoring on CNN Headline News. Before all these, he was an anchor on Channel NewsAsia.

Today's report from Switzerland on CNN Today by Richard Quest was the first I have seen after Richard's return. Welcome back, old boy!


Adrian Finighan and Mallika Kapur are a hilarious pairing. Adrian was joking on today's programme that Mallika was feeling his leg under the table, whereas in fact she was just reaching for some buttons beneath the desk!

Edit: And now Adrian is delivering a hilarious Peter Allis-esque impersonation of a Golfing Commentator, which Adrian reckon's is "what he wants to be when he grows up, because it is the easiest job in the world".

I love them together too. Remember when Adrian's chair fell apart and he looked like a midget next to Malika.

As fro Richard, last week he was in the studio talking to Becky about the hole in that airplane.
