Anyone know how the BBC weather schedule works, it seems that even on Christmas Day you have a situation where each bulletin on BBC1 is done by a different person, so in the course of a day you could see 4 forecasters on BBC1

This differs from ITV, where the same presenter will do all day. Sian Lloyd did Christmas Day again this year by the way

I thought the ITV weather presenter recorded all the weather forecasts for throughout the day in the morning.

This happens every day, as you have one presenter for Breakfast and then a different presenter for each bulletin, who is also on World, radio and News 24. There's also one presenter just for Five Live and 4 other presenters who also do World, News 24 and Radio, making 9 weather presenters each day as you can see here.

It's as clear as mud, looking at News 24....

You've got Penny Tranter doing 'morning and early afternoon'
Liam Dutton is also shown as doing 'morning and early afternoon'
Dan Corbett is shown as doing 'afternoon and evening' but
Philip Avery doing 'daytime'

Which presumably means if you watch News 24 around lunchtime you will see all 4

I know, it's not really that clear, but I think the daytime presenter is the one that does the Ten and the afternoon presenter usually doesn't appear till around 4.

Is BBC's Weather coming from a different studio today? The lighting is different and theres an white outline around the presenter.

Do BBC Three even have a weather forecast - and if so, when?

I see they still have Sean Batty there under the regional forecasters. He's been with STV for about 3 months now.
