ITV Lunchtime News moves to 1.30; cut to 30mins

Cut This Morning by 15mins
12.15 - 12.30 Regional News
12.30 - 13.00 ITV News
And get an extra half hour in afternoon schedule.
Back to normal basicly

I suppose it may help to solve the ratings drop of the last half an hour of This Morning. It could also help this morning by taking their final break so that they come back off air around 1155, then have the 'coming up on the lunchtime news' before the local news around 1215. Surely they could even link in as they would usually.

Maybe's 10.30 - 12.15 This Morning
breaks every 12 mins.
e.g 11.55 Break 11.58 This Morning 12.10 Break 12.14 Coming Up - ITV News 12.15 Straight to Regional and break 12.28

Sod the break, just go straight to the national like they do at 6:30pm.

12.28 Tonight with Trevor McDonald, or ITV News ad. Then straight to National.

I think this is nearly as dull as presenter rotas.

Strange though, as it could remain at 12.30 and loose women follows at 1.00.

Move to 1.30? That's a bit late. That means it finishes at two o clock.

I suspected they might show something like Loose Women from 12.30pm-1.30pm. I expect a lot of viewers will stay watching after This Morning finnishes.

I wonder what is happening re the regional lunchtime news?
