ITV 4

What is your source for this. Since ITV4 is now testing on Sky there is no logical reason for them to delay the launch by 1 week. It would be far more sensible to launch on all platforms simultaneously.

It's rumours backed up by the ITV4 website and promos which only mention NTL and Freeview.

That proves nothing though. ITV3 was promoted as being on Freeview and cable only when it launched... but in the end it launched on Sky as well at the same time.

It may be a rights issue over the live football they have planned in the first week - on Tuesday and Thursday.

Most live the UEFA Champions League on the Tuesday.

What does it look like?

Unilever have bought the entire first commercial break on ITV4, as they did on the opening night of ITV3.

There's one on NTL as well, it as the ITV4 & NTL logos and the text:

Here it is, on Channel 15 in Bromley / Ex-CWC areas, not sure what it is on Langley / Original NTL areas.

I find it odd that for us ITV2 is on Ch6, ITV3 is on Ch8 and ITV4 is on Ch15! Even more odd that the channel has appeared 2 weeks before launch, not like ITV3 which appeared on the day of launch last year.

There is now a prelaunch image on Freeview (channel 30) for ITV4...

I see they like the idea of using the top of the four, its on the website too.
