TV Forum - The Train

Just like to echo Gavin and Nick's feelings on the subject. I think we're posting trains in protest, and in frustration at the stupid bloody posts that just seem to get left on here for days and days.

I would write more, but I'm tired, and Gavin and Nick have already summed things up nicely.

To be honest i think my posts on M247 have prob tipped the ballenced as far as your opinions on me are conserned. I allways like to add to convosations on here tho there are allways spelling mistakes.

One major problem which most of the moderators seem to overlook is that a certain repeat offender of the forums is still operating under two usernames but nothing has even been done. If somehow S-k-y-o-n-e-f-a-n and GMTV aren't Paul Akinbola then **** them and ban them anyway, they get right on my tits.

There's spelling errors, and there's sheer ignorance though.

Surely, if you know that your spelling/grammar is an issue, then it might be an idea to run it though a spell-checker or equivalent (Microsoft Word springs to mind, although I wish it hadn't) before posting it on here. Sounds a long-winded idea, but it might save on aggravation in the long run.

With regards to report a post - I think the problem with it is we can't see what's happening to our RTPs so it's hard to judge what happens. IIRC we don't get a PM saying "ta, this moron has been banned" although Asa sometimes goes "so and so reported this post" when giving someone a telling off.

I couldn't put it better myself. I would write more but fusionlad has posted what I was about to post.

I think that a ignore post feature is needed on this forum so people like cdd can ignore people on his list and have a happer time on the forum.

Indeed, backtracking of the highest order currently going on in the TV Studios thread.

That's a rule that should be added 'Any member constantly posting blatent untruths will be banned", that'll catch out Mr Sky Four is launching next week.
