As said above, the idents are expected to be graphical so it won't be glimpses of ITV1 celebrity idents. However, before the celebs (and the "1") arrives ITV did have a couple of promotions involving shots of celebrities.

If they do one tomorrow, I expect it be a mixture of graphics and programme clips.

No he did mean UTV2, that was the whole point in his post! UTV idents had been described to him so he asked what UTV2's were like.

Exactly correct gottago. I have seen those UTV idents before. UTV2 had a very short life & was a rename of TV You. Both UTV2/ TV Your & S2 (Scottish 2) DIDN'T appear on Sky so had a very low audience. I have seen S2 idents before & TV You but not UTV 2 they used to have a logo on UTV's website but this has now gone unless I am looking in the wrong place?

I'll look on Google to see if i can find the old image, sometimes it crops up on there

BTW I know what The Tv Room is

I knew I would find proof somewhere (with the aide of the wayback machine). Click tv listings clicj on select a diffrent channel on the following link & you will see UTV 2 at the bottom, unfortunatley at the moment no picture of the logo

The final few hours now of the idents. I expect the final ITV1 generic ident to be played out before ITN's ITV Morning News on Monday. The celebrity idents will continue throughout the night most probably but I'm going to bed now.

I wonder how things will be tomorrow?

Is somebody here on "Ident Watch" through the night until GMTV? If so, go to bed instead - ITV1 are far too stingy to mention the last showing of the celeb idents...

(Yeah, I know, I'd be kicking myself if we got a montage, but hey...)

Don't think they will, this isn't LWTscale ending, this is just a set of idents that aren't that popular, likely scenario will be...

5.30am Last Graphic ident before News
5.59am (And probably 45 seconds in) Last Celeb Ident
6.00am GMTV (As Usual)
9.25am New ident debuts

I don't remember this much fuss last time round when they changed the celeb idents last year.

I can't particularly be bothered wading through every single post related to this subject, and I'm pretty sure I haven't seen this answered anywhere, so...

My last celeb ident: This short one featuring David Hayman (whoever he is) leaning against the big blue block. Shown at 9:00pm, before Foyle's War.

This relaunch is occuring at almost exactly the same time of year that the Hearts relaunch did. I didn't watch much TV at that point in time, so the first time I ever noticed that the old Meridian ident had gone was when I saw the 1999 Christmas ident with the Angel. These new idents don't have long before they'll be temporarily replaced by Christmas ones as well!
