Hi Sky One unden

Don't say hi to him.

I doubt he even wrote that post. All of his other posts have been one of the following:

Poorly spelled gibberish.

Hi Big_fat

Sinisterr! ... so, might this er, thing be some alien plant/implant? The more we can be told, the more confused we can enjoy becoming?

Cool

I'm in Byker Grove and in SKY ONC's documentary series, "When in Rome...." in a few months' time.

I was interviewed for the local news years ago about some stupid new strategy at our school. This had nothing to do me, and I cared even less, they just wanted some kid to pretend he cared what was going on with his school, boohoo!

I was interviewed for a German TV station when the Eurovision Song Contest was held in Birmingham in 1998. As I'd heard of the German entry ("Guildo Loves You") they asked loads of questions and I had to do several pieces to camera saying "Wilkomen im Birmingham" (please excuse my German spelling!).

Unfortunately I'll never know if I was shown!

I nearly made it on screen when they showed the audience for Pebble Mill (or whatever it had changed into by then) about 12 years ago, but I was just out of view.

My 15 mins of fame still to come.

I've been on Midlands Today a couple of times, and maybe Central News West too (can't remember).

The street I now live in has been featured on Inside Out at least twice in more then one region, as well as Central News East and probably East Midlands Today and Look North Hull.

Have I said before that I've been on Look North? To remind you....

December 2002 - in audience shot behind Peter Levy and Helen Fospero at Lincoln Christmas Market

July 8th 2004 - 'That Mock Bulletin' with Peter from BBC Hull Open Centre.

July 13th 2004 - audience shot behind Harry and Christa at Great Yorkshire Show

Oh, and I've been on Kids' Kilroy too, in April 1994 and Sky News in September 1993.....

I might be on Radio 4's 'You and Yours' programme soon, talking about Asperger's Syndrome....

It's over ten years since I last appeared on TV (to the best of my knowledge.) I really must sack my publicist.

Got roped into a couple of schoolkid gameshows, an Irish language thing called Eureka circa 1992 and the ultra-cheapo Physiquiz a couple of years later. This latter was presented by a very bored-looking and subdued Barry Murphy, soon to find fame as a member of the celebrated Aprés Match team.

Needless to say, my team won on both occasions. I cherish the walkmans/men that were the spoils of victory to this day (except: I don't.)

As a child (with freakishly big hair) I appeared on Songs of Praise - not because I was in any way religious or liked singing hymns - I just wanted to be on the telly... although I guess I'm not the only one to have done that.

Never been interviewed or anything, but have been in background/audience shots a lot of times:

1988 - I was in the background of TSW Today when they were doing a big Gus promotion at Homeworld in Pool (I still have the badge!).

1996 - Background of Royal Cornwall show on Westcountry Live

1998 - Spectator shot at the Twickenham county final (twice during the game)

1999 - when doing my A Levels I was on Spotlight in one of those 'camera sweeping the classroom' opening shots

2001 - In my big break onto national TV, a year after I'd actually been there, I was seen walking through the millennium dome on the BBC 6 O'Clock news when they were doing a story about the money it lost.

2004 - In my Europe-wide debut, I appeared on Eurosport in the audience of Britain's strongest man held at Butlins in Minehead. Incidentally, this coverage was produced by a BBC OB team.

Apart from the occupational hazzard of appearing occasionally on telly (in the background or something), my main claim to fame was appearing on Graham Norton and winning a holiday.

Eek, I remember "Physiquiz", I used to watch it the odd time around at my Nan's on a Saturday morning, I remember it had 2 Unlimited's "The Magic Friend" as its theme tune and one of the rounds had a revolving unit where you had to throw balls at velcro straps and frisbees into a letterbox.

Wasn't there also a young kid who co-hosted RTE's "Physiquiz"? I think he also appeared on the annual Late Late Show Toy Extravaganza.
